Man in the Shed

Scott (Scott Tracey) returns home late at night and is relaxing in his home when he hears a strange noise coming from outside... Another experiment in screen violence, again most of the stunts performed by Doug "stunt animal" Hamilton. The fighting took twice as long to shoot as the build up, but is about a quarter the length edited together. Lesson: Stunts/Action take much longer to plan and arrange, even if it just a simple roll/punch. Make sure you have it well covered - a lot of the hits in this were unconvincing but we had to use them because we had nothing else shot. This is why Tony Scott used 16 cameras at one time for Man on Fire. Sound helps a lot though, as hopefully can be seen with our lame sound effects. Apologies for the music, which sounded good on my PC at the time! Shot on MiniDV, lit using fluorescent (normal) lightbulbs with 4 Crew (director/camera, lighting, 2 helpers), 2 Cast and several hangers-on. Somehow I even managed to work in a homage to Star Wars, though I am sure there ae not as many homages to Bruce Lee movies as Doug would have liked. There is even talk of a sequel, if I can't come up with something more sensible to film.
